Team
Gordon Glen Shepherd is a Director
of Ambassador Event Control Limited. He joined the TA 1st Battalion Highland
Fusiliers and reached the rank of Sergeant. Since 1984 he has been in the
security/event control business, which included many live festivals and shows
all across the United Kingdom. He was second in command at Manchester City,
Maine Road and was responsible for a 127 stewards and supervisors. From 2001-2005
he worked as the Project Manager of a Blackburn night club (1400 capacity)
and bar (550 capacity).
Stephen Burns is a Director of Ambassador Event Control
Limited and has been in the security/event control business since 1989. Running
front of house at Liverpool University's student venue, which holds up to
2,700 people. He was also responsible for the IRT (Instant Response Team)
and Pit Manager at various venues across the country. These events included
the Commonwealth Games and Manchester City, Maine Road.
The Stewards and Supervisors
employed by Ambassador Event Control Limited have a wealth of experience in
the Event Management and Security Industry. Most of the staff have worked
together for many years and act as mentors to any new staff employed by the
company. Staff are encouraged to provide an input into the successful running
of the company and the Management Team take on board all feedback provided
by them. This encourages staff to become in integrated part of the business,
which in turn helps to formulate a very positive and healthy company.
